The past 3 weeks has been a blur to me. Day in and day out I was working on my collection. I'm pretty sure I've been talking in my sleep. The stress was starting to take it's toll on me. But I have no regrets.
To my wonderful sewer, thank you for sewing until the wee hours of morning for me and helping me complete my collection.
To my friends, especially those who went out of their way just to watch the show, my most sincere gratitude goes out to you all. I am truly blessed to have friends like you. Thank you!
To the person who brought me the best tasting KOWLOON JUMBO SIOPAO ever, thank you! You know who you are! It was the perfect ending to a really hectic and stress-filled day. :)

Words cannot describe what I am feeling.
I WILL FOREVER CHERISH THIS DAY. :)
That, and the occasional SIOPAO from our friendly neighbourhood bakeshop which happens to be open 24 hours.I end up getting about 3
hours of sleep on the average because for most part of the day I'm working on my collection which is nowhere nearing it's completion. TOUGH!So far, out of my 10-ensemble collection, I have completed 3.
Another thing that has been stressing me out is my shoemaker! It's already Friday and I still need to get hold of 6 pairs of shoes for the show. I have this nagging feeling that whenever I step out of the shop he stops working on my shoes to deal with other clients. Waaaaaahhhh...
The most fun I had in the past week was when I went to SMX Convention Center for the fitting. I was able to take a break for half-a-day. FYI, I was able to fit only the lining.
Then I realized that time was running short 'cause the my show falls on Tuesday so I had to do some of the work myself which is fun because it brings back the days when I was still in design school.
Look at my rack...
If you look closely, there's plenty of empty clothes hangers. I still have to produce 11 articles of clothing the last time I checked. Now I can't post more pictures of the clothes until after the show. :)
The picture below was taken on the day of the fitting. The bag is by Gionna Cabrera. It's the most lovely handcarved bag I have laid my hands on. And it's made out of one big chunk of wood, too, unlike other wooden bags that were just glued on together before carving. I wonder when I'll be able to finally afford one. :)
It also felt great to see some friends from design school again. They were present to help out fellow Benildeans fit the clothes. Thanks, guys! :D

But when it comes I always run away...
One such movie that has truly touched my heart would be "Ang Pagdadalaga Ni Maximo Oliveros". The plot is very simple. And yet the manner in which the story is told happens to be highly compelling. I must admit that I was able to relate to a few scenes. :)
Another such movie, "The Amazing Truth About Queen Raquela", puts ladyboys/trannies in a different light.

About a couple of months back, I had a little party with my fashion friends at my place in Bulacan. And since my place in Bulacan is only 5 minutes away from 8 Waves Water Park, we thought we'd visit it the next time around. We all got totally wasted and the following day we were talking about when the next party is gonna be. Well, it was supposed to be on the 15th of March but we gave way to the UP event.
Luckily we did!
